The FP6601Q chip integrates the HiSilicon fast charge protocol and Qualcomm QC2.0/3.0USB interface fast charge protocol, which can quickly charge devices that support FCP and QC2.0/3.0 protocols. In addition to supporting the USB BC1.2 standard, it also supports FOR Apple and FOR Samsung devices. The chip can automatically detect whether the currently connected device is a QC2.0/3.0 or FCP device to automatically adjust the voltage.

The TPS61088 uses an adaptive constant off-time peak current control topology to regulate the output voltage. The TPS61088 operates in PWM mode under medium to heavy load conditions. Under light load conditions, the device can select one of the following two modes of operation via the MODE pin. One is a PFM mode that increases efficiency; the other is a forced PWM mode that avoids application problems due to low switching frequency. The switching frequency in PWM mode can be adjusted from 200kHz to 2.2MHz with an external resistor. The TPS61088 also implements a programmable soft start function and an adjustable switching peak current limit. In addition, the device is available with 13.2V output overvoltage protection, cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown protection.
The TPS61088 is available in a 20-pin 4.50mm × 3.50mm VQFN package.

This module can be applied to a single-cell lithium battery to 5V-12V output for general digital product charging, such as mobile phones, Ipad, MP3, PSP and so on. It can be used as a high current output mobile power source only by connecting the battery. It is also possible to supply power to the 5-12V product by setting the output voltage.
